In order to get English translations of the manuals, I have taken images of the various manuals, passed them through gImageReader and Google Translate and put the results into LibreOffice. The files were then exported as a PDF and are suitable for printing on A5 paper. This is a ongoing operation and there maybe updates.
Does anyone know how to open this radio…mine will not fire up NWS the actual batteries hold a 6 volt charge..I’ve replaced to a LIPO 7.4 volt battery with needed modifications but still zero ascto firing her up…so my first thought is to check to fuses in the battery. .t
The battery pack reads the proper voltage when you check the volt rates so the battery pack is doing her job BUT I can not figure out how to gain access to this radios internal configurations..
Any suggestions or thoughts are welcome and appreciated.

Either side of the front panel there should be 2 slotted screws, one of which may be covered with wax to provide a tamper evident seal. Dig the wax out, then it should be possible to undo both screws and slid the case off.
